Extech Instruments, a FLIR Company, has recently launched the new HDV600 range of videoscopes – available either with or without the wireless display capability and with a range of different camera probe options, from the 4mm head for accessing even the smallest areas to the 25mm video probe head with 30m of fibreglass push cable to view pipework in HVAC or plumbing systems.
New for this range is the 5.5mm articulating head on either a 2m or 1m semi-rigid insertion tube giving the benefit of allowing you to pre-shape the insertion tube and then gain additional inspection capability by using the articualtion function, giving a 320° angular range.
The wireless display unit allows the operator to get a clear view of the scene even when the access to the insertion poit of the camera is awkward to reach – you can position the display in your eyeline for best viewing and comfort.
